Occupation: medical assistant @ Kidney Care and Transplant Services of New England, DBA the vascular access center.

Sport Fitness Background: As a kid I was active in nature but was never super competitive or aggressive. I played softball as a child and into my high school years. I was a member of local “global gyms” for 10+ years and started running until I settled into CrossFit.

Favorite benchmark wod: Annie or Nancy

Favorite lift: Overhead squat

Favorite crossfit moment: all of my “ firsts”: double unders, pull ups and bar muscle ups!

My goal for coaching athletes: There is nothing better than hearing an athlete say how much they appreciate you and how much you helped them! Making an athlete feel more confident in themselves and their athletic ability is my ultimate goal.

One thing you should know about me: I am blessed beyond belief in this life with the cards I have been dealt, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have struggles. No matter what the struggles, I remain positive and do the best I can everyday and CrossFit is a HUGE part of the reason I am able to feel strong and confident. It has given me so many reasons to smile everyday.

Class time: typically 5AM

What someone new to crossfit should know: CrossFit is Fun. CrossFit is empowering. CrossFit is Family.  CrossFit is Mental. CrossFit is Physical. CrossFit is a journey. CrossFit is challenging and never gets easier if you are giving it YOUR 100%.
